Gentle Grounds
Spring 2024 | An artists' book exploring the closeup textural landscape of my hometown. I observed the natural spaces around me and took photos, then illustrating my findings. I wrote textual anecdotes to relay my personal relationship with my hometown and the forest, then using these to explore fine typography. I printed the book on the risograph, and added foldout elements and windows with vellum paper. I bound the book by hand.
